Unlike rigid Elizabethan collars that block vision, bump into furniture, and cause anxiety, our inflatable collar uses a soft PVC inner tube wrapped in a plush short-pile cover. It gently prevents your dog from reaching wounds, stitches, hot spots, and rashes on the body, legs, and paws â while still allowing them to eat, drink, sleep, and move around naturally. The adjustable hook-and-loop strap makes it easy to put on and take off, and lets you fine-tune the fit to your dog's neck size. When deflated, the collar folds completely flat for compact storage and ultra-low shipping costs â perfect for travel, vet visits, or keeping a spare on hand. The zippered plush cover is removable and washable, so it stays fresh through extended recovery periods. How do I choose the right size?
Measure the circumference of your dog's neck and match it to the size ranges, from XS (12-20cm) to XL (50-65cm). If between sizes, choose the larger size and use the adjustable hook-and-loop strap for a snug fit.
Will it block my dog's vision or stop them eating?
No. The inflatable collar sits around the neck like a travel pillow, so peripheral vision, eating, drinking, and most daily activities remain unobstructed while the head is prevented from turning to lick or bite a wound.
How firm should I inflate it?
Inflate through the air valve until it is supportive but still softly compressible. You should be able to press it slightly with your thumb. Adjust the firmness to suit your dog, and deflate it for compact storage or travel.
Is the cover washable?
Yes. The short-pile plush cover removes with a zipper and can be washed, while the PVC inner tube simply wipes clean.
Is this better than a hard plastic cone?
Many dogs find inflatable collars lighter, less stressful, and easier to sleep in than rigid cones. They work well for body and leg recovery, though a determined dog may still reach some areas, so check the fit against the specific wound location.
